Poor families are malnourished basically due to inadequate income, where as the well off families consume too much. Abstract

Objectives: In android users do not understand the permissions structure and how apps utilize these permissions. Methods/Statistical Analysis: Study of App Ops system in android and finding out ways to check what permission android apps are using and also to check and derive various algorithms to see what levels of access can be granted to permissions. Also to see if an application can be developed so that the user could know what permissions app is using and whether they are required or not? Findings: After proposing four algorithms and trying to classify the level of protection access to permissions we have found that this classification yields desired results. The client can know what permissions are being requested by which apps and can therefore be enlightened to its hazards and security risks. Also although this approach is similar to what Google has done with the Marshmallow version howsoever it suffers from shortcomings and is not yet, a complete solution. Thus, our results will only substantiate and help in the creation of a more robust and secure android version. Whether this much power should be given to the naïve user, however is a question that needs some thought. Application/Improvements: Our algorithms can be applied to newer versions of android to make it more secure and ensure user privacy.

Abstract

With the advent of computer and computer based analytical methods it is very easy today to perform complex and time consuming calculation within a second ; and the humanity learn what a fraction of seconds means whether it comes in context of Earthquake, Tsunami or Hurricane. Due to increasing demands of high rise buildings the subject Structural Dynamics added to syllabus of Under Graduate as well as in Post Graduate students to understand the concept of structural dynamics and this is very important for the practicing structural engineers also. But calculations and interpretation of results involves very time consuming calculations and without using computers it becomes almost impossible when numbers of storey increases above five stories. While performing manual calculations chances of errors are very high so, we have to depend on the software available to perform Dynamic Analysis and source code of them are not open type so novices find difficulty understand it properly. In view of above all difficulties; this project aims in developing a spreadsheet open source program using Visual Basic for applications in Microsoft Excel on Modal Analysis of structural dynamics. Modules of 2-Degrees of Freedom, 3-Degrees of Freedom and 4-Degrees of Freedom developed; testing and verification performed intensively to check the results with standard reference books of structural dynamics.

Abstract

Computing world is an incredibly growing area having pervasive computing as an emerging computing environment. The aim of pervasive computing is to create such an environment that is familiar to the user and this is done by embedding multiple electronic devices in user environment without making the technology and the computing devices visible to the user. After revolutionizing the business world pervasive computing is being making changes in the homes. This paper introduces the emergence of pervasive computing in the homes. Based on interviews conducted at home we explored the multiple user prospects about the pervasive computing environment at homes. The paper ends up with the discussions on the challenges and the future devices of pervasive computing at homes.

By a series of open source software by National Archieve of Australia this paper propose a Xena based digital preservation platform for long term preservation of digital data by converting file formats to preserve one.

Abstract

The main objective of database analysis, design, and implementation is to establish an electronic repository that faithfully represents the conceptual and logical model of the manageable aspects of a user's information domain.
